This Privacy Policy explains how KCT Ecommerce Inc. ("StoryRush," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the StoryRush mobile application, websites, and related services (the "Service").
Information we handle
- Account information: account identifiers, Firebase user ID, sign-in provider, and email or profile information supplied by you or your sign-in provider.
- Guest and device information: a persistent guest/device identifier, app installation or messaging identifiers, push-notification token, device and app version, language, and basic network request information.
- Viewing and activity information: dramas and episodes viewed, playback position and completion, watch history, searches, favorites, likes, reports, and recent activity.
- Purchase and access information: coin balance, coin credits and deductions, episode entitlements, product and transaction identifiers, transaction environment, and purchase-processing status. Apple processes payment credentials; StoryRush does not receive your full payment-card or bank-account details from Apple.
- Support information: messages and information you choose to provide when requesting help, reporting a problem, or making a privacy request.
- Diagnostics: operational logs, error details, performance information, and security signals needed to operate and protect the Service. We do not intentionally log passwords, authentication tokens, Apple signed transaction payloads, or private server credentials.
How we use information
We use information to provide authentication and guest access; deliver and resume video; synchronize progress; show published content; process coins and episode unlocks; verify Apple purchases; send requested service notifications; provide support; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain security; diagnose failures; and comply with applicable obligations.
Service providers
We use service providers to operate StoryRush. Depending on the submitted build and enabled features, these may include Apple (Sign in with Apple, StoreKit and App Store purchases), Google Firebase (authentication and cloud messaging), Google Cloud (application hosting and media storage), MongoDB Atlas (database hosting), Vercel (web hosting), Branch (deep-link handling and attribution), and RevenueCat (legacy purchase or subscription compatibility). These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices.
Advertising is disabled in the current planned Production configuration. If advertising or additional analytics is enabled in a later release, we will update our disclosures and obtain any consent required before that change applies.
Sharing and tracking
We share information with service providers when necessary to operate, secure, and support the Service; when required by law; to protect users or the Service; or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. Deep-link or attribution technology may process device and link-interaction information. StoryRush will use platform permissions and consent controls when required for tracking.
Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain account state and purchase records, protect against fraud, meet legal or accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention depends on the type of information and why it is processed. We may retain limited transaction and security records after account deletion when required for those purposes.
Your choices
You may manage notification permission in iOS settings. Signed-in users can use the in-app account-deletion flow where available. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion, or to ask a privacy question. Rights vary by location and may be subject to verification and lawful exceptions.
Children and content
StoryRush is not directed to children. Drama content may include themes intended for older audiences. The applicable store age rating and content descriptors should be reviewed before each release.
International processing and security
Our providers may process information in countries other than where you live. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this Policy as the Service or our practices change. We will post the updated date and provide additional notice when required.
